Lower-res TV sales outpace 1080p -- hurting Blu-ray?
Sales of lower resolution televisions, such as 720p and 1080i, are outpacing true hi-def flat panels this year, which may be affecting the sales of Blu-ray players and content, which display video in full 1080p resolution. Without 1080p televisions, there's little reason to purchase Blu-ray.
